About Seattle Pet Valet
Our work is flying pets to and from Seattle, door to door. We look after the plan, the forms, the crate and the airline reservation, and licensed local partners do the driving at both ends.
Why we started
A move to a new city is hard enough. Bring a pet along and suddenly you have questions nobody seems to answer clearly. Can a dog fly alone? Which crate size? Does a cat need a vet certificate? Who meets the plane? How much will all of it be?
The information is scattered over airline cargo sites, state rules and PDF forms, and it keeps changing. Plenty of pet movers will not name a price until you have been on the phone with them. We set out to work another way: an online price, airline rules kept up to date, and as much of the move handled for you as you like.
What we do
Dogs and cats fly with us between Seattle and Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Phoenix, New York, Honolulu, Anchorage, Dallas, Houston, Denver, San Diego, Chicago, Boston, Washington, DC, Boise, Austin, Las Vegas, Miami, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Maui, Kona, Fairbanks and Juneau, both ways. How the work is shared
Our side is the plan, the airline booking, choosing and supplying the crate, the paperwork, and updates from the first message to the last. In each city, licensed local partners carry out the pickups, airport check-ins and deliveries. The flight itself is the airline's job.

What you can expect from us
A price before a phone call
Waiting days to hear a price is common in this business. For most routes, our form gives you one on the spot. If a move needs pricing by hand, we reply within a day.
The flight that suits your pet
We pick the flight and time of day that put the least strain on your pet. Before booking, we check the airline rules against your pet, your route and your dates.
Rules we read ourselves
What we say about breeds, temperature limits, crates and health certificates comes from the airline's own pages, with the date we last checked. Never from memory or a blog post.
No promised flights
Every flight is the airline's decision. Space is confirmed with the airline once you book, and you hear from us right away if plans change.
Rides are for pets
Owners do not come along on the rides we arrange. Licensed local partners handle every pickup, check-in and delivery.
A straight no when it has to be
When a move is a bad idea or simply not possible, you hear it from us. That covers dates when the airline will not fly pets and breeds it refuses in the hold.
What we do not do
Staying focused helps us do this one job well.
- No road trips. We fly pets. For a pet, a few hours in the air beats days on the highway, both for speed and for stress.
- No rides without a move. The home pickup, the vet trip and the airport legs only come as part of a move. Routine trips to the vet, the groomer or daycare are not something we arrange.
- No end-of-life services, for example euthanasia appointments or moving remains.
- Birds, reptiles and other exotic pets that react badly to heat or cold need a custom quote, and in some cases we have to say no.
