What do you need?

Four steps

From first click to front door

Share a few details about your pet and the trip. We handle the rest and send updates along the way.

  1. 1

    See your price

Send the form. Most routes show a price the moment your contact details are in. Otherwise, it reaches you within a day.

  2. 2

    Crate and papers

Your pet's measurements tell us which crate fits, and we can provide it. A pet in the cargo hold must have a health certificate: we give you the timing and can arrange the vet ride.

  3. 3

    Pickup and check-in

Your pet leaves from home and is handed in at airport cargo ahead of departure. A message lets you know check-in is done.

  4. 4

    Arrival

After landing, your pet is picked up at the cargo office and taken to the new home. Updates keep coming until then.

More on how it works

How we work

A price up front, and the airline rules as they are

A price without the phone calls

For most routes, the form puts a price on your screen along with a simple list of what it covers. No waiting for a callback.

Both ends covered

The home pickup, the flight and the drop-off at the new place come as a single plan, not three bookings to juggle.

Rules we checked ourselves

Breed rules, summer heat dates, crate sizes and Hawaii's entry steps come from the airline's and the state's own pages, with the date we last read them.

Questions people ask

What does it cost to fly a pet out of Seattle?
Size matters most, because the airline bills for your pet and the crate weighed together. The route, how far each home is from its airport, and add-ons such as a crate or a ride to the vet also play a part. On most routes the form gives you a price in about three minutes. Read what affects the cost for the details.
Can my pet travel without me?
Yes. Pets fly alone as airline cargo, inside an approved crate. Booking, forms, crate and SEA check-in are on us, and we arrange the trip from the arrival airport to your new door. Coming to Seattle instead? We arrange the pickup at your current home and the drop-off at the new one.
Do you handle moves to Hawaii?
Yes. Dogs and cats entering Hawaii must meet strict rules (a microchip, rabies shots, a rabies blood test and a waiting period), so give yourself 2 to 4 months to plan. Our guide to moving pets to Hawaii walks through it.
Can I ride with my pet to the airport?
No. The rides we arrange are for pets only. If you are taking the same flight, we arrange for your pet to get to SEA and you meet up at the terminal.
Can a snub-nosed dog fly?
Not in the cargo hold on the flights we use. That covers snub-nosed breeds such as every type of bulldog, boxer, pug and mastiff. A pet small enough for an under-seat carrier may be able to travel in the cabin with you instead. Our guide to snub-nosed breeds and flying explains the rules.
Is a health certificate required?
Yes, for any pet in the cargo hold. A licensed vet must issue it within 10 days of the flight (14 days for Hawaii), and we can arrange the ride to your vet. Our page on the vet health certificate for flying has the details.
